This is a Yamaha Pacifica 812W. This is a high end Pacifica and not one of the cheaper models. Build in 1999, beautiful Translucent blue offset double cutaway select alder body, maple veneer top, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlay, Wilkinson VS100 tremolo, 6 inline Sperzel locking tuners, 2 Seymour Duncan single coils, 1 S.D.Humbucker. 5 way switch, Pearloid pickguard. Plays like butter, very fast neck, action is great, the sound is very allround, the single coils give you the traditional Strat sounds while the Humbucker gives you fat overdrive sounds. The Wilkinson tremelo and the Sperzel locking tuner keeping this guitar in tune, even by heavy use of the tremelo. The guitar is in good condition some dings here and there, bridge saddles and pickguard screws some rusty, will not affect the playability of this guitar, looks,p lays and sounds awesome. The Signature's most notable features are its Gibson mini-humbucker in the neck position, Duncan Hot Stack for Strat humbucker in the middle slot, and Duncan Classic Stack for Tele humbucker at the bridge. Gibson has since purchased the Valley Arts line of guitars.

The passive electronics yield a fascinating range of tones. The basic idea of the pickup and wiring scheme is to deliver classic Tele spank, but with bigger neck-pickup tones and a whole lot of additional sounds in between.
