Musicman Stingray 1 Vintage 1977 USA(sold)

Here we have a classic Legendary Musicman Stingray 1 guitar. Insiders know that Leo fender created this wonderful guitar along with the famous and still in production Stingray basses. The Stingray 1 guitar was made only for a short period, 1976 to 1979. So it`s a collector by now. Leo tried to make a guitar which could provide all the sounds a guitar player needed, think Stratocaster, Telecaster etc. He did a wonderful job, it`s a very versatile sounding ax. Ash natural body, one piece nicely flamed Maple neck, 2 very strong and good sounding pickups, lots of variations with the switches to be made. The guitar plays like butter and sounds great. All the Fender sounds are in this one. You will not easily come across a vintage Musicman 1! This one with her 30 years of age, still shines and was kept really well over the years. this is a handmade Castello Archtop,made entirely of solid wood.

The CASTELLO guitar "CONCERT" model is entirely made of first class, massiv wood. The very light body creates basses, medium and hight tones in the same loudness. The cover is very thin in order to transmit best the swings and is made of resonance pine naturally dried for years. The neck of guitar and the bottom are made of different selected maple woods, and for the fingerboard pearl and green abalone is used. The tradintional cord holder and the mechanics are gilded with 24 carates, which gives the instrument a particular look, just as the neutral or sanburst laque.
