Tokai Classical LC-9 Made In Japan Vintage

This is in great shape an early 80's Tokai Vintage Classical guitar model LC-9. This great guitar shows a solid spruce top and Bubinga back and sides. A beautiful Rosette and bridge inlay completes this guitar It plays wonderful and sounds great, very good sound. It has been kept well in its hard shell case, therefore its in pristine condition. Very hard to find these older Tokai Classics. Price: €700.

Ovation Collectors Edition 1993 Made In USA(sold)

This is a very beautiful Ovation made in the USA, out of their Collectors series. Only 1537 guitars were produced that year from this collectors edition. This was only made for 1993, beautiful Natural Finish, solid spruce top, folk style body with cutaway. Multi upper bout soundholes, 5 stripe bound body, medium bowl size, 22 frets ebony fret board 12th fret 1993 inlay, walnut bridge, gold Shaller tuners, piezo bridge pickup with active preamp. This is a great guitar and very collectable. The sound is very good and plays like butter. The guitar is in very good condition considering its age of almost 14 years now. Comes including the original Ovation Hard shell case. Ovation Standard Balladeer in great condition. Color is cadillac green; very dark shade, almost black in low light, but the green shines through beautifully under stage lights. The serial is 556992; its a 2003, according to Ovation's website . Electronics are show, are in perfect working order, and sound great plugged in (as Ovation's always do!). The guitar does have the (practically pateneded) Ovation finish cracks near the bridge, although extreemly small, and not noticible unless you are looking for them.
The original hardshell case is included, and is in great condition as well. There are some minor cracks near one of the feet at the bottom of the case.

below is some information about Dobro
The OMI, Original Music Instrument Company was founded in 1967 in Pismo Beach, California by Rudy and Ed Dopyera and Gabriela Lazar. The Dobro trademark was owned by Semie Mosely from '67 to '70 when the Dopyeras re-acquired the Dobro name. The OMI Dopyera dobros from '67 to '70 were named "Hounddogs". In 1970 the Dopyeras got the trademark back and renamed it the OMI Dobro They built OMI wood bodied dobros in California until Gibson bought the dobro name in 1993 with the instruments still being made in California until production was moved to Gibson Nashville in 1997. The Dopyera made the OMI Dobro from 1970 to 1993 is more in demand than the Gibson OMI dobros and used models are priced accordingly. The '92 OMI was you mentioned was still made by the Dopyeras and should've commanded a higher price. Many resonator enthusiasts consider the OMI dobro model 60DS from 1970 to '79 to be the best of the old timey sounding dobros. If you can find one, jump on it like a Robin on a junebug. Next in demand are the 1980-1988 OMI 60DS models then come the 1989 to 1993 models. Almost all 60DS OMI models were made with maple veneer bodies and slotted pegheads and vertical tuners
