Tokai Silverstar Vintage 1983 Cbs Fender Replica(sold)

Here is a wonderful Tokai Silverstar finished in Olympic White, build around 1983. These are know to be one of the best Fender Cbs Stratocasters around, some say these are even better then some original late 70's Fender Stratocasters. The guitar is all original, of course it shows some wear guitar is 25 years of age, shows dents and nicks on the body also the finish is worn of on some places too. This is a 1984 made Vintage Tokai Goldstar Sound made in Japan. These are very good if not better Stratocasters then even Fender made back in this Era. The Tokai's were that good even the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan endorsed Tokai. This Tokai is model ST 40, alder body, one piece maple neck script logo, 3 super sounding Tokai original single coils .L series Neckplate, Tokai stamped bridge saddles. This guitar is all original, on request I will mail you pictures of the inside electronics, never been touched. This guitar has a wonderful 3 tone sunburst finish, considering the age of 22 years its in very good condition, of course some play wear as can be expected, but overall its in pretty clean condition. Tokai Silver Star 1982 Vintage 1976 Model Fender(sold)

Here we have a awesome Tokai from the lawsuit era. This 1982 Strat is an exact copy of the Fender 1976 CBS Stratocaster. 3 tone Alder sunburst body, one piece maple neck, black pickups covers, black pick guard, switch tip and tone knobs. Just like the originals and this one has the desired Spaghetti logo and the big size head stock and 3 bolt neck plate. Insiders know these old Tokai rock the place and were better guitars then there USA counterfeits. This nearly 25 year old Tokai is in good condition considering the age but of course there are dents and scratches which is normal for a guitar this age and played. Greco Super Power ST Vintage 1981 (SOLD)

1981 Greco SUPER POWER 'ST' style Vintage Guitar. Great Vintage Greco guitar modelled after a 62' Fender stratocaster. Features include Maple neck, Rosewood board custom black body. 3 way switch, tremolo, 1 volume, 2 tone knobs, Greco machine heads. Guitar is all original and comes with original Greco Gig bag. A great playing vintage, looking and sounding Guitar. It has numerous nicks and dings on the body, there is a piece of the original pickguard missing, and backplate is also missing. Greco Guitars: Greco is one of the earliest “lawsuit” guitar makers in Japan. They have been making guitars since the early 1960's at the FijugenGakki plant. Most of the 1960's guitars were original models, but in the early 1970's, they got into making replicas of original Fenders and Gibson’s. At first, they didn't have the hardware to make really good, exact replicas, but by 1974 or so, they had the correct-style hardware to match their excellent craftsmanship, and they put out some killer replicas. Also, Greco made more clone models of original Fenders, Gibson’s, Rickenbacker’s, Gretsch’ s, Zemaiti’s, lbanez, and other brands, than all other companies combined. They beat Tokai to the lawsuit race by at least 5 years. Eventually, as the company found that the demand for their popular replicas grew and that the size of the production was getting too large, they relinquished their Stratocaster division to Fender Japan in late 1981. By 1982, Greco Stratocasters became Fender JV Stratocasters, then later MIJ and CIJ Stratocasters, made by the same guys who made the Greco "Sparkle Sound," "Spacey Sound," "Sparkle Sound," and "Super Real" Stratocasters from 1977-1981. Greco still retained the business of selling great Gibson clones and other brand knockoffs of extraordinary high quality up until 1989. After that, the pressure to “cease and desist” production of copyright-infringing designs took its toll on Greco and they decided to change their headstocks and logos to avoid a confrontation with the American manufacturers. No longer will “lawsuit” models of exact Gibson and Fender clones be made by Greco. They are becoming extremely rare and the demand is getting greater by the month for these older Greco guitars. Fernandes 1970's reissue 3 bolt ST . Here is a very collectable Fernandes solidbody electric that is modelled after a 3 bolt Fender 70's Stratocaster. FERNANDES''THE REVIVAL 1957 model

In excellent used condition. This guitar weighs 3.60 kilos and is from the early 80's based on the general build etc.
The guitar has a few minor scratches and a couple of dinks on the front. The back has some more visible scratches and a few dinks and there is a bigger dent on the bottom edge. The back of the neck is clean and unmarked and the headstock has a couple of small dents. The original hardware is in excellent order and working fine - has the hallmarked bridge saddles and the gotoh tuners. The electrics are good - (has the 5-way selector and the blue bobbin Alnico pickups). The fretboard has a couple of unnoticeable marks and the frets are not showing any wear
the body shows some wear too,downside of body is a cut in the wood,its not in sight. No extra routing and the original pickups are working fine. Its playing nicely and includes a gigbag.

this all original beauty is from 1982,its in kind of Relic condition,for what you pay at Fender now tons of $$$ for
this is a Natural Relic,with lot of paint chips/scratches ect on the body,wear on the neck ect,this all takes not away the playability and sound of this true gem
its very very light,around 3.3 kilos,really a joy to have around your shoulder,it plays wonderful setup with a 010 set,sound is awesome,this still has the original configuration,like Leo build these,so the position switch in the neck has NO tone(With a capicitor you can also have tone on the neck position,very easy),aka the dark sound,the middle position of course has tone,and then there's the treble pickup,Twang Twang Twang.

57 Reissue in a fantasctic 2 colour sunburst finish.
Beautiful grain of the wood showing through the finish.
