Slash Les Paul Standard is a recreation of Slash's favorite Les Paul and is made of solid mahogany and is finished with a Antique Vintage Sunburst. Just like the custom shop version the guitar is fitted with Seymor Duncan Alnico II Pro pickups and a neck modeled after Slash's original. The guitar will be made in a limited run of 1600 guitars. He says "It's sort of a trip for me to see it because it looks exactly like the guitar after I had it refinished in 1988. This is what it looked like when it was brand new."

Gibson Custom will release their Slash Inspired by VOS (Vintage Original Spec) guitar, Gibson USA will release their Slash Signature Les Paul Standard model and there will also be an Epiphone Slash Les Paul Standard Plus packaged with exclusive Slash inspired accessories. All three new guitar models will combine individual design features while Slash’s own personal touches create a unique instrument destined to become another instant classic.

For twenty years, the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll has been embodied by one man. When he shot to fame with Guns N’ Roses in 1987, Slash was the cool cat in the top hat, cranking out timeless riffs like “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” And, at the same time setting the standard by which all future guitar heroes would be measured. Now fast-forward to 2008 and he’s doing exactly the same with “Velvet Revolver.”

“Slash embodies the true essence and spirit of rock n’ roll. He is a master of his craft and respected the world over. Gibson is proud to partner with one of the worlds greatest guitar players. His signature range of guitars is symbolic and a true testament to his status and global recognition” said Henry Juszkiewicz, Chairman and CEO of Gibson Guitar. “I expect these limited edition run of guitars to sell out soon after they arrive in stores globally on 1st April 2008.”

“I have always been a Les Paul player and am very proud to have my own range produced by Gibson and Epiphone, the maker of the world’s greatest guitars. I hope that musicians around the world enjoy them as much as I do,” said Slash.

GIBSON FIREBIRD V VINTAGE WHITE(sold)
HERE WE HAVE A NEW GIBSON FIREBIRD V IN STUNNING VINTAGE WHITE FINISH.
WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THESE GUITARS,THEY LOOK AWESOME,THE PLAY AWESOME,AND SOUNDING GREAT,FAVORIT AXE OF JOHNNY WINTER,A CLASSIC AND LEGEND

There is no mistaking a Firebird V--with its unique "reversed" zig-zag body design and equally distinct headstock, it is simply one of the most recognizable of all guitar profiles. First introduced in 1963, the Gibson Firebird was the brainchild of legendary automotive designer and visionary Ray Dietrich (Lincoln, Packard), enlisted by Gibson to bolster the guitar lines of the early '60s and help solidify the company's eminent rank among solidbody electric guitar manufacturers. Dietrich's unconventional design was based loosely on both the legendary automobile tailfins of the 1950s and the Gibson Explorer, which had been introduced several years earlier.
Angled Headstock The Firebird's distinct headstock stays true to Gibson's industry-changing way of thinking. Like every Gibson headstock, the angled Firebird headstock is carved out of the same piece of mahogany as the neck. The angle is carefully set to 14 degrees--instead of the traditional 17 degrees--to accommodate the headstock's radical contour and to keep pressure on the strings. The headstock's form insures straight string pull, which, when combined with the increased string pressure, means there is no loss of string vibration between the nut and the tuners, equaling better sustain. Banjo-styled tuners provide the necessary clearance between tuner buttons, allowing for comfortable access and uncomplicated tuning. This process takes craftsmanship, time, and effort, but the rewards are certainly worth the effort.
The Firebird V Neck Profile No guitar neck profiles are more distinguishable than the neck profiles employed on the Gibson models of today. The more traditional '50s neck profile is the thicker, more rounded contour, emulating the neck shapes of Gibson's iconic models of the late 1950s. The '60s neck profile is considered the more modern, slim-tapered contour most commonly associated with the Gibson models of the early 1960s. The neck on Gibson's Firebird V has the best of both worlds--it is a hybrid between the '50s rounded contour and the '60s slim-taper profile. As with all Gibson necks, it is machined in Gibson's rough mill using wood shapers to make the initial cuts. Once the fingerboard gets glued on, the rest--including the final sanding--is done by hand. That means there are no two necks with the exact same dimensions. So while it still has the basic characteristics of its respective profile, each neck will be slightly different, with a distinct but traditional feel.
Gibson High-Output, Ceramic Mini Humbuckers The introduction of the mini humbucker in the late-1960s served a growing need--the demand for a P-90-sized pickup with no hum. Gibson's world-class engineers set about creating a smaller, more compact humbucker to fit into the slot of a P-90. With its smaller size, narrow magnetic field, and unique design combination, the mini humbucker produces a bright and focused output, while still retaining Gibson's famous humbucker performance. The mini humbucker was first made available in several Gibson-made Epiphone models of the late 1960s, and the Les Paul Deluxe in the early 1970s. Today, it is best known as the pickup in the Gibson Firebird, and is a vintage replica of the original mini humbucker with bar Alnico II magnets. The Gibson mini humbucker is authentic in every detail, from its cream-colored plastic mounting and coated enamel wire, to its maple spacers and vintage braided lead wire. The tone is unmistakable Gibson.
Neck-Through-Body Construction and Solid Mahogany Body The Firebird V's multiple-wood-ply construction is as structurally and aesthetically innovative as any Gibson feature. The neck and center piece of the body are constructed from solid mahogany, as are the two wings that are glued on to each side to form the Firebird's distinct outline. Gluing all the pieces together insures maximum 'wood-to-wood' contact, and allows the neck and body to function as a single unit. This neck-through-body construction results in better tone and unsurpassed sustain, and no loose or misaligned necks. The regimen involved in selecting the Firebird V's wood and the formula to dry it out is closely controlled. First, the wood is personally inspected and qualified by Gibson's team of skilled wood experts before it enters the factories. These onsite inspectors also insure that the plain maple comes from corporations adhering to the forest-saving standards of the Rainforest Alliance, of which Gibson is a proud member and sponsor. Inside the Gibson factories, humidity is maintained at 45 percent, and the temperature at 70 degrees. This insures all woods are dried to a level of 'equilibrium,' where the moisture content does not change during the manufacturing process. This guarantees tight-fitting joints and no expansion, and controls the shrinkage and warping of the woods, in addition to reducing the weight. It also improves the woods' machinability and finishing properties, and adherence to glue. Consistent moisture content means that a Gibson guitar will respond evenly to temperature and humidity changes long after it leaves the factory.

GIBSON LES PAUL AXCESS STANDARD USA CUSTOMSHOP(ON HOLD)

For nearly six decades now, Gibson's Les Paul Standard has stood the test of time as the most playable guitar in the world. While others have attempted to imitate it, none have come close to duplicating the qualities of the finest six-stringed instrument on the planet. Yet each year, Gibson attempts to improve on the world's best guitar. Now Gibson introduces the new Les Paul Axcess Standard from Gibson Custom.

Player's have long asked, "Dare to be different?" The Les Paul Axcess Standard is more than just "different." It's the result of Gibson's drive to build the best Les Paul Standard possible, while staying true to the design and performance of the iconic Les Pauls of the past.

The new Les Paul Axcess Standard from Gibson Custom carries all the elegant styling, fluid body lines and rocking attitude of a classic Les Paul Standard from the golden era of the late 1950s. Upon closer examination, however, the Les Paul Axcess reveals a handful of upgrades -- all modifications made in the name of maximum playability and versatility.

Body and Neck
Encounter the clever structural alteration that gives this new model its name by taking the instrument in your hands and running your fingers up the neck. The Axcess sports what looks from the front to be a traditional Les Paul neck joint, yet the neck heel and portions of the back and neck joint at the upper cutaway have been contoured to provide a "heelless" feel, and an unimpeded reach right up to the 22nd fret. No more stretching against the traditional neck heel to achieve the upper-fret access that your lead style demands -- the Axcess gives you that legendary Les Paul playability all the way up the neck, welcoming you to take it right over the top. The one-piece, 24 3/4" scale length, mahogany neck features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid fingerboard inlays.

To further enhance playing comfort, this smoothly carved neck joint is combined with a "belly scarf" (aka ribcage contour) that allows the body of the guitar to hug closely to your own body in the playing position without digging in. Add to these contours the Les Paul Axcess's slightly thinner body, made from weight-relieved mahogany - with a carved maple top available in Iced Tea Burst or Gun Metal Gray finishes and single-ply cream binding on body top - and you've got an instrument that is refreshingly light, and a pure joy to play either strapped on, or in a seated position.

Hardware

The most noticeable addition is the Floyd Rose tailpiece, a unit optimized for anything from subtle vibrato wobbles to dramatic, rumbling divebombs. On the Les Paul Axcess Standard the vibrato is installed right at Gibson Custom as part of the manufacturing process, which means this potent piece of high-performance hardware interacts seamlessly with the design of the guitar. Partnered with an R4 locking nut, it also guarantees outstanding tuning stability and return-to-pitch accuracy.

Beyond all these significant considerations for playing feel, the Axcess is also geared toward optimum tone, as you'd expect from any Gibson Custom creation. Exposed-coil BurstBucker 1 and BurstBucker 2 pickups in the neck and bridge positions -- the most accurate reproduction vintage-PAF-style humbuckers Gibson has ever offered -- yield everything from warm, fluid vocal tones to fat, sweet growl, while an added push/pull switch on the treble Tone knob provides coil splitting for accurate single-coil tones.

These unique tonal combinations excel at delivering everything from singing classic rock lead tones to contemporary crunch to extremes of twang and jangle. Even the pure-nickel wound .10-.46 Gibson Vintage Strings it ships with
contribute toward its rich, textured voice. Each instrument also comes with a Gibson Custom hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.

Nighthawk 2009
In creating the Nighthawk 2009, Gibson has breathed new life into a model it retired 10 years ago. This lusty guitar, which resembles its larger Les Paul cousin but with more defined curves, has become a cult favorite since it was discontinued in 1999, after only six years in production. The original Nighthawk was conceived of in response to the demand for a more modern silhouette and a multitude of tone options. Today’s version is still all about a guitarist keeping his options open. With two volume controls, a master tone knob and two heavy-duty pickups, guitarists can experiment with endless sounds. If tone alone weren’t enough to carry this instrument, Gibson luthiers have labored to create an exquisite-looking guitar. A figured maple top, mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard and deluxe details combine to make the 2009 Nighthawk a true collector’s item.

Jimmy Page "Number Two" Les Paul
Every musician knows that late ’50s Sunburst Les Paul Standards are hard enough to come by as it is. Obtaining a pristine and exemplary ’59 ’Burst and modifying it for heightened performance and vastly expanded tonal options? Unheard of… unless, of course, you’re Jimmy Page. That’s exactly what the legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist, perhaps the world’s most iconic Les Paul player, did with his own ’59 Les Paul Standard, and now—thanks to the extreme efforts of Gibson’s Custom Shop and the intimate cooperation of Jimmy Page himself—the artist’s hallowed “Number Two” Les Paul is available to mere mortals, in the form of the Custom Shop Jimmy Page “Number Two” Les Paul. Produced in strictly limited numbers, with two levels of aging, this guitar captures the look, feel, sound, and versatility of one of the greatest artist-owned Les Pauls of all time, and it is likely to disappear from authorized Gibson dealers in record time.

GIBSON SG ''ANGUS YOUNG LIM ED SIGNATURE
USA CUSTOMSHOP''VOS'SERIE only 200 made(SOLD)

ITS HERE FINALLY THE GIBSON SG CUSTOMSHOP ANGUS YOUNG IN BEAUTIFUL CHERRY RED''VOS SERIES,AWESOME GUITAR,COLLECTOR
LIMITED EDITION,NEW IN CASE WITH PAPERS.

Angus Young SG Standard
For more than 35 years, AC/DC has represented the archetypal “big rock” guitar sound, setting the standards for countless bands to follow. In particular, Angus Young’s incendiary lead tone and mammoth rhythm crunch have inspired wave after wave of rock guitar heroes, and he has done it all on a Gibson SG Standard. The SG replaced the underappreciated Les Paul Standard in 1961, and while the Les Paul would surface later in the decade as a rock and blues classic, the new SG (originally named Les Paul/SG) was an instant hit in its own right. Its simple yet inspired ingredients of thin, all-mahogany body and neck and two Gibson humbucking pickups gave it a snappy attack with a muscular punch, and its slim, fast neck yielded unprecedented playability. Now the Gibson Custom Shop offers its reproduction of one of the world’s most renowned SGs in the form of the Angus Young SG, a Limited Edition that captures the tone, look, and feel of this rare specimen among a classic breed, but which updates this legendary guitar with custom modifications requested by Angus himself. Angus Young acquired his 1968 SG Standard in 1970, and has used it on all major AC/DC recordings and many tours since the band’s inception in 1973. Young’s ’68 SG is known to be a superb example of this model, with an unusually slim neck, pickups that blend just the right proportions of power and sweetness, and a resonant, vocal tone that represents the best of the SG formula. Listen closely to any classic AC/DC tune, and the tone is huge, but not filthy or fizzy. Angus’s ’68 SG achieves a stunning clarity and definition right within its bone-crushing thump and grind. With utmost attention to detail, the Angus Young SG seeks to achieve that tone, aided by a pair of custom-spec Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucking pickups. And with 50 guitars out of the total run of 250 aged in-house
by Gibson and signed by Angus himself, this outstanding Custom Shop reproduction also nails the look of this legendary guitar, with upgraded modifications at Angus’s request, including an ebony fingerboard with “lightning bolt” inlays (a further 200 guitars will receive the VOS treatment). The Custom Shop Angus Young SG will also be sold with a custom Certificate of Authenticity, a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case, and a full range of owner’s manuals and instruction sheets.

GIBSON LES PAUL 59 R.I VOS ''SUNRISE TEABURST.(on order)

NEW CUSTOMSHOP GIBSON USA THE LES PAUL 1959 REISSUE VOS(vintage original specs)
beautiful Sunrise Teaburst finish.awesome guitar
complete with all goodies ect.

Gibson’s Les Paul Standard model from 1959 is the most highly acclaimed, widely recognized solid body electric guitar in the entire world, coveted by both players and collectors as the ultimate example of playability, attractiveness and tone among all six-stringed instruments. In an industry filled with imitations and replicas, the iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard simply has no equal.
Named after Lester William Polsfuss, aka Les Paul – legendary American jazz guitarist, and true pioneer in the development of recorded music – the Les Paul model guitar became the “Standard” in July 1958 after company president Ted McCarty and his staff decided to add the new designation and forego the guitar’s traditional Goldtop finish for a new, brighter finish dubbed Cherry Sunburst, which allowed the natural beauty of the Les Paul Standard’s maple top to be showcased. The company was hoping the changes would improve its sales of solid body electric guitars, which had been declining since 1953 when the Gibson shipped 2,245 Les Paul Model guitars.

A note from the Custom Shop: We have made a running change on the case we use for the 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS from the current “vintage” case to the standard Custom Shop black hardshell case.

Michael Bloomfield 1959 Les Paul Standard VOS
                                  orders only

To most guitar and blues aficionados, Michael Bloomfield was more than just a renowned, big-city blues guitarist. A session player who was weaned on Chicago's legendary south side blues, Bloomfield forever altered American-based blues with his bold and passionate guitar playing and he did it all while strumming a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard. The master craftsmen at Gibson Custom are proud to announce the much-anticipated Michael Bloomfield 1959 Les Paul Standard, an accurate recreation of the instrument Bloomfield used to create the legendary "Bloomfield Sound." Whether listening to his recordings with the Butterfield Band, his work on Bob Dylan's classic Highway 61 Revisited album, or his mastery of the guitar on Super Session, Bloomfield's technique is without equal, and the tone achieved using his beloved Les Paul is one of the most recognizable of all time. The Michael Bloomfield 1959 Les Paul Standard faithfully captures that celebrated tone, along with every precious detail of the original. Starting with the Les Paul’s traditional hand-carved maple top and solid, non-weight relieved mahogany back, this instrument is pure Gibson, right down to such time-honored appointments like CTS potentiometers and bumble-bee capacitors, holly headstock veneer, Grover kidney tuners and a rounded neck profile similar to those on the original Les Pauls from 1959. The guitar's Bloomfield Burst finish also replicates the finish on Bloomfield’s original Les Paul, and was achieved through the careful examination of hundreds of photos of the original. This special reissue is available in a limited release of only 300 guitars: The first 100 will be aged by renowned finish and restoration artist Tom Murphy, while 200 will receive the popular V.O.S. (Vintage Original Specs) treatment. All will come with a standard Gibson Custom case silkscreened with Bloomfield's signature and certificate of authenticity.
