The perfect amp to reproduce the sound of any acoustic instrument or voice!
Every one of its components, from preamplifiers to loudspeakers, has been designed for natural and accurate response. UNICO's circuitry is designed like the circuits found in professional-quality recording studio electronics - you will hear the difference in accuracy and precision when compared to other acoustic combo amplifiers.
The UNICO has a built-in analog spring reverb designed using an innovative Class A circuit producing the smooth and musical, even subtle reverb sound guitarists, violin players and others have been seeking. Close your eyes and listen to the sound of your instrument combined with the UNICO's rich reverb, a sound more often found in the concert hall than in the inexpensive digital effects processors of many acoustic amplifiers.
By changing the size and shape of the amplifier, we have achieved softer bass.
We have also introduced a gain control function across the channels for improved input level control – this is vital for a clean signal. Mid control has been added to the DYN and STAT channels and a four-band equalizer is now available in the MIC channel to suit the needs of demanding musicians. More compact and with it's new shape Unico is even easier to carry!
Two power amps with an active crossover produce more than 180 Watts RMS and combined with a 8" woofer (150 Watts RMS) and a 1" dome tweeter (35 Watts RMS) guarantee velvety and clear harmonics with a controlled and strong low end (down to 40Hz). The technology of biamplification delivers very transparent and clear sound as well as providing maximum efficiency by properly matching amplifiers to loudspeakers. Each power amp has its own limiter circuitry, providing secure speaker protection. Power amps are built with bipolar transistors (no MOS-FET) and are energized by a robust, traditional power supply (toroidial transformer).

BASIK The contact pick-up for all stringed instruments. Simply apply the special kit supplied, and BASIK will convey the body vibrations with high precision producing a natural acoustic sound. BASIK SET With the BASIK-SET, the microphone can be plugged in any amplifier through the phantom power adapter box supplied with a 1.5V AA battery. This product has been conceived either for musicians or other not professional use (Hi-Fi, PC, etc.). The Blackface era of Fender amplifiers were produced between 1964 and 1967 and widely considered to be at their best. Not only did their amps receive a slight cosmetic make-over from the earlier Blonde and Brown amps, the circuits under the hood were refined, yielding the amps that you heard on all those classic records sitting on your shelf.
This '64 Concert is a great example of what a blackface can do. An articulate amp with nice balance and a great, useable EQ. It has good headroom with plenty of sparkle on top but also breaks up nicely when pushed. Its two 6L6's put out around 40 watts so this one is great, whether for practice or for gigs. You'll find it becomes one of your favorites because of its great sound. This amp is loaded with its original quad of 10" speakers. If you've never played through 10's you'll be pleasantly surprised. They really sit well within a band. Punch in the vibrato feature and you've got one winner of an amp.
This amp is in very good condition. It came out of a church and has very little use, none in the last several. My guess is that most of the tubes are original. You'll also see photos showing the serial numbers of the speakers.
You will note that the grill cloth has a small tear just beneath the logo. It can be repaired as the grill material itself is in great shape.

For the past two decades, one name has been synonymous with the best in rock amplification. Marshall has now become a household name throughout the world as a symbol of precision acoustic engineering, to be relied on, not only for superlative sound quality, but for high performance night after night.
Each amplifier chassis is constructed from a minimum of 16 S.W.G. steel, precision cut, punched, bent and seam-welded to form a substantial, rigid foundation strong enough to take all the knocks of the road. Industrial grade cadmium passivating ensures many years of rust-free operation.
All electronic components are selected and tested to out perform their required functions, and the electrical hardware, such as switches, selectors, etc., comply to most international safety standards to ensure the user is safe from the risk of electric shock. The same applies to both the mains and output transformer, that are designed and built to withstand full output for hour upon hour. To complete the electrical specification all valves are selected from the finest grades available. Once assembled and wired, using both hand and machine techniques, each chassis is fully tested by the team of electronic engineers.
After testing and adjusting, each chassis is assembled into cabinets that are manufactured to an equal standard as the chassis. Each cabinet is made from finest quality birch ply, corner locked and r.f. bonded for immense strength and longevity. After the protective and decorative RV.C. covering is bonded and stretched onto the cabinet, A.B.S. corner protectors and air vents are riveted in position, and the heavy-duty strap handle and shock absorbing feet are screwed on.

Very unique and rare !! Fully serviced and approved by our amp tech. Technically and cosmetically in excellent shape. The original lay-out from this amp is 100% Black Face. So you actually will get your ‘64-‘67 Black Face Deluxe Reverb sounds. New matched and biased 2x6V6 TAD, Sylvania NOS 5U4GB and SOVTEK 12 AX7LPS tubes installed. This is one of the very first Silver Face models. It has the 3 thin black vertical lines on the face plate, produced for approx. one year only. All the transformers are original to this amp. Original reverb and tremolo work excellent. Speaker is an OXFORD 12L6 from ‘63, we strongly recommend installing a modern vintage replacement speaker by Jensen, Weber, Celestion Gold etc. to keep up with modern standard. Price 1725 EURO.

Fender switched back to the blackface era cosmetics some time in 1980. Deluxe Reverbs produced between late 1980 and 1982 have a black control panel and silver sparkle grille cloth. A “Boost” pull switch was added to the Volume control around ’77. A Line Out jack added to back panel around `79.

AMPEG ROCKET RARE TUBE VINTAGE AMP USA 1960 (sold)
vintage 1960 Ampeg Rocket Amp. It's a 15 watt tube amp. It has 2-6V6 Power tubes, 2-6SL7 Preamp Tubes and a 5Y3 Rectifier Tube. It has been recently serviced with all leaky caps replaced. This includes the filter caps and Filter Can cap. All out of tolerance resistors were replaced as well. (original caps/resistors were kept and will ship with amp). Three prong cord added. It has it's original OT, PT and speaker (Jensen P12S AlNico). The tolex is in good condition. It is showing wear on the corners, so it's not mint. These amps are becoming pretty rare. It has a very nice vintage tube sound often compared to a Fender Tweed Deluxe. The tremolo on this amp is fantastic,the footswitch is an old wooden Guild pedal,The tubes are RCA with a Sylvania Rectifier.

The Vibrosonic Reverb was a guitar amplifier made by Fender This silverfaced guitar combo was basically a master volume Twin Reverb equipped with a JBL D-130-F 15" speaker. It was available with 100 watts RMS of power with a '60s "tailed" Fender logo before its change to a 135 watts RMS combo featuring a "tailless" Fender decal in 1977. The Vibrasonic Reverb was introduced in 1972 and discontinued ten years later.
It was made with a brushed aluminum control plate from 1972-1979 and a black control plate from 1980-1981. It was then discontinued.
Features included built in vibrato, spring reverb and an overdrive boost pot (as of 1977). The vibrato was only accessible through a footswitch and the overdrive boost was made use of via a push pull function on the master volume knob.

Vox introduced the AC15HW Series amps in 2010. There were two models. The AC15HW1 was a point to point hand wired amp that featured one Celestion Greenback 12" speaker. The AC15HW1X was identical to the AC15HW1 except that it featured a Celestion Blue Alnico 12" speaker.
The brief history of Vox AC15 amps
The Vox AC-15 tube amplifiers produced by JMI (Jennings Musical Instruments) from 1958 through 1969 were hand wired and featured point to point construction.
While the term "hand wiring" indicates the chassis components were manually inserted, wired and soldered, point to point construction adds yet another dimension. Point to point construction requires that every electrical junction in the amplifier be completed by direct interconnection of the component leads or wires without the use of circuit boards. Point to point amps are usually constructed on lug strips or turret lugs. The photo below shows these lug strips and the hand wired, point to point construction of a 1960 JMI Vox AC-15 <ac15-1960_chassis.html>.

The JCM-900 Series replaced the JCM-800 Series in 1990. This new series featured two basic models: the Hi-Gain Master Volume MK III and the Hi Gain Dual Reverb. The Hi-Gain Master Volume MKIII was the latest incarnation of the popular Models 2203 and 2004, while the Hi-Gain Dual Reverb was an updated version of the JCM 800 Models 2205 and 2210. Marshall responded to consumer demand at the time, and added more gain and distortion to this series as well as improved effects loops. The gain section featured two stages with two different knobs - the first one ranged from the standard 0 to 10, while the second knob added on to this by ranging from 10 to 20. Guitarist Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap is largely credited with coming up with the extra stage of gain. In the movie This Is Spinal Tap, Tufnel's Marshall has a gain knob that goes one beyond the normal highest point of ten to eleven. Marshall actually had Sir Christopher Guest (the actor who played Nigel Tufnel) at the Winter NAMM show in 1990 to introduce the new JCM 900 Series.
Other features of the JCM 900 Series include a series effects loop with adjustable levels, a high/low power switch that acts as a half-power switch by changing the tube's operation from pentode to triode, two line outputs including a direct out and a new recording compensated recording out, and new tube output protection fuses that would blow a fuse if a tube failed protecting the amp from damage.
Marshall also introduced a new numbering system for the JCM 900 Series that actually supplied information about the model's specifications instead of being a random number assignment. Like their previous numbering system, the new system featured four numbers, but that is where the similarities ended. The first number indicated which one of two chassis the amp featured with a 2 for the Hi-Gain Master Volume chassis and a 4 for the Hi-Gain Dual Reverb. The second and the third numbers indicated which one of two wattage outputs the amp had with 50 for 50 watts and 10 for 100 watts. The final number indicated the configuration of an amp: a 0 for a head-unit, a 1 for a 1-12 in. combo, or a 2 for a 2-12 in. combo.
The JCM 900 Series remained largely unchanged for their production run, aside from the two Hi-Gain Master Volume heads. In 1993, the Model 2100 and 2500 were updated by adding an extra preamp tube for more gain. These amps were called the SL-X, which stood for Super Lead Extended. These new SL-X amps were also referred to as MKIVs in Marshall's literature and price lists, but neither these nor the MKIII models (Models 2100 and 2500) had these markings anywhere on the amplifiers. The JCM 900 was discontinued after 1998 when it was replaced by the JCM 2000 Series that featured the new DSL (Dual Super Lead) and TSL (Triple Super Lead) heads

Noodling around with modern production tubes we found a perfect All Round tube in the TAD EL34-STR. This one comes very close to the early sixty’s GE KT66 and 5881 tubes where it all started with.

Just like the early sixty’s style amps the High inputs are the ones to the front and the low inputs the one to the back. You can simply hear the difference by putting in a guitar. The loudest is the High input.

the Captain 34 is a 3 channel all-tube guitar amplifier with a plexi style EL34 poweramp.
The power supply was redesigned to give that nice compression like you are turning your levels all the way up, even at lower volumes.
This amp sucks the tone right out of your fingers!! You must feel it to believe it.
CHANNEL ONE
The clean channel has sparkling clean with heaps of dynamics and a well balanced tone with smooth bass response and shimmering bell like highs. The EQ has some special features, a bright switch for extra highs and a eq cut function bypassing the tone circuit for extra gain and mid boost. There is also a (foot)switchable boost function giving just that extra gain for a texas tone. The clean channel works great with pedals too.
CHANNEL TWO
The second channel has 2 different modes; normal and boost. The sound differs from light crunch through fat blues distortion to old school fat overdrive. This channel has its own gain and level knobs and shares the EQ with the 3rd channel. In addition to that there is an edge switch wich you can use to create more modern rock sounds.
CHANNEL THREE
The lead channel has 2 different modes; a normal and a boost.In comparison to second channel this sound is more British voiced.This channel starts with crunch to vintage tube overdrive. In the boost mode more gain added for extra punch and sustain. The edge switch works also on the 3rd channel.

A vintage 1963/64 Gibson GA-5 Skylark amplifier in very good condition. These are basically known as a "poor man's tweed champ", similar simple point to point circuitry, low wattage for that sought-after over driven tone without the cost of a tweed era vintage champ. Runs quiet, bright/clean until about 7 then starts to get that saturated tube overdrive at full. This one is in exceptionally clean condition for it's age, tolex is in very good condition, chrome is very clean, logo is in intact, grill is excellent. 5 watts but let me tell you it is loud !! breaks beautiful at vol 6/7.

GRETSCH PRINCESS AMP 1963
This is a cool vintage amplifier that was made for Gretsch by National Valco. This amp is USED and shows lots of wear but it works fine and sounds good. I can see that there is a newer 3 prong power cord but I think everything else is original. I think this is the version that was sold with the princess guitar.

amp has 2 channels normal and brilliant with their own volume control,next to the extensive tone control there's a 5 band EQ too.nice for shaping your own sound,also of course reverb,and a Distortion which i think is more like a Boost rather then distortion.
amp sounds great the Vox sound !! a great amp but less popular the the AC-30,still a great vintage Vox amp.

The 1974X 1 x 12" combo amp: an authentic reissue
The 1974X is an authentic reissue of the fabled model 1974 combo of the late sixties (1966-1968). Just like the original, it boasts a point-to-point, handwired, tagboard circuit housed in an aluminium chassis, plus a valve-driven tremolo circuit. At the very heart of its simple yet effective 2-channel design can be found six valves: three ECC83s in the preamp, an EZ81 rectifier, and a pair of cathode biased EL84s in the power stage. As the output and mains transformers are vital components in any amplifier as they influence performance, sound, and feel, Marshall worked extremely closely with their associates at Dagnall in order to duplicate the original, off-the-shelf transformers in all areas.
Aged Greenback T1221 speakers
A contributing sonic factor in the original 1974 is the way the sound of the Celestion Greenback speaker softens with age. For the 1974X, Celestion revisited the recipe for the original Greenback T1221 speaker, and aged it. The result is a new speaker proprietary to Marshall.
Original components live up to point-to-point perfection
This new series was created to meet growing public demand and to pay homage to models that, for many players, represent the ultimate in organic, all-valve guitar tone. The primary objective was to achieve maximum authenticity in terms of components, circuitry, construction methods, materials, specifications, aesthetics, signal path, performance, tonal characteristics, and feel. All of the original components and materials were used or reproduced, and the original methods of construction employed in the late 1960s were revisited. All transformers - output and power - have been meticulously re-created by Dagnall Electronics, and each amplifier's handwired tag-board lives up to the idea of point-to-point perfection.

Fender first introduced the VIBROVERB in the early part of
1963. Unlike many of the other Fender amplifiers that
were produced for years, this version of the VIBROVERB
had a production life of less than 4 months. It is estimated
that fewer than 600 VIBROVERB units were ever produced.
This limited production is one of the reasons this amplifier
has become highly sought after by vintage amp collectors.
The VIBROVERB was the first Fender production model to
have both reverb and vibrato as built-in “effects”.
The original VIBROVERB shows Fender in a transitional
period with amplifiers changing from tweed covering to
brown “Tolex” and eventually to black “Tolex.” In the summer and fall of 1963, Fender changed the speaker configuration of the VIBROVERB to a 15 inch speaker and the
brown “Tolex” covering changed to black. The single 15
inch model is also fairly rare, but the 2-10 version is legendary.
Fender’s ‘63 VIBROVERB re-issue amplifier is based on the
original cosmetics, sound and circuit. Every effort was
made to be true to the original.
Several changes have been made for safety and reliability
reasons. A printed circuit board is used rather that the
phenolic “parts panel” of the sixties. A 3-prong line cord is
required for safety reasons. Minor modifications to the circuit took place since certain parts are no longer available,
but every effort was made to keep the original circuit values
and sound the same. We resisted the temptation to
“improve” the amp with features found on later models like
master volume, effects loop or channel switching. In order
to improve reliability, a solid state rectifier was used rather
than a 5AR4 tube. Since the ‘63 VIBROVERB uses a solid
state rectifier, there is one less tube and tube socket than an
original VIBROVERB. All internal circuit voltage values
have been precisely matched to the new solid state rectifier
to insure exact sonic reproduction and no alterations to the
“vintage” sound. On the original model, the Reverb /
Vibrato Footswitch connected to the unit via 2 RCA style
jacks; this has been changed to a more reliable 1/4” jack.

The VIBROVERB is unique in Fender amplifier history by the
implementation of its tone circuit. The VIBROVERB was the
first and ONLY Fender amplifier to use this type of tone circuit. The treble control is “tapped,” meaning it responds
more like an active tone control allowing boost AND cut of
high frequencies. Conventional Fender tone circuits provide a small amount of tone shaping even in the “0” position, but if the VIBROVERB Treble Control is set to about
“5”, the response is flat.
The speakers used in the ‘63 VIBROVERB are reproductions
of the original speakers made by the Oxford Speaker
Company. When Fender started work on this project,
Fender contacted Oxford who still had much of the original
tooling and documentation of this 10 inch speaker from the
early sixties.
The power and output transformers used in the ‘63
VIBROVERB are built to the original specifications, which
are still in the R&D engineering files at Fender’s office. The
same “direct-coupled” oscillator circuit is used for generating the vibrato. The reverb sound from the VIBROVERB is
“warmer” than later Fender amps due to the unique reverb
send and recovery circuit.
The cosmetics of the ‘63 VIBROVERB incorporate the brown
“Tolex” and “Ecru” grill cloth used in 1963. We have retooled the “flat” Fender logo and have added the original
tilt-back legs found on so many Fender amps through the
sixties and seventies.
